Ausgangslage
WITTE Automotive stands out for its creative and innovative solutions in the area of locking and actuation systems for vehicles and has thus developed into a globally active group of companies. Today, WITTE Automotive is one of the technology leaders in the field of mechatronic locking systems and continuously invests in the development of innovative system solutions for doors, flaps, interiors and seats. The result of engineering work is the most sophisticated products that combine mechanics, electrics and electronics in a unique way - and can be found in all well-known car brands. The family-run company employs almost 5,000 people internationally.
Zusammenarbeit
We have been working with Witte Automotive for 14 years and have filled over 30 important positions to date. With almost 500 employees, the Wülfrath plant is the group's punching and bending competence center. As part of the consistent group-wide expansion of modern shop floor management, the position of an HSE manager should be filled for the first time.
The focus was on promoting a proactive HSE culture in the area of responsibility, ensuring targeted compliance with sustainability requirements and continuous improvement in the area of HSE driven by indicators.
Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit
The project was successfully completed within three months. The job holder has now worked in this role for over four years. Plant management reports significant improvements in anchoring the safety-first strategy, the increasingly important reduction in energy costs and thus also corresponding progress in implementing the sustainability claim.
