Ausgangslage
The interdisciplinary and broad-based WPW Group has been a successful service provider in the construction and real estate industry with several hundred employees for decades. The network, which consists of various companies, is characterized by a decentralized company structure. The individual companies and locations are organized as independent units in a flat hierarchy and work as a network. Thanks to its strong interdisciplinary orientation and holistic thinking right from the start, WPW is able to successfully implement projects in a wide variety of functions (consultant, planner, project manager), both regionally, nationally and internationally. As a general planner, it was possible, for example, to design complete new plant construction projects for the automotive industry.
Zusammenarbeit
We have been working with WPW for over 10 years and have been able to fill a variety of divisional, team and project management positions. Due to the complex network organization, management in the area of administration has an important integration function in the areas of finance, personnel and general administration in the sense of shared services. As part of the age transition, this position had to be filled. The main challenge was to find candidates who had a correspondingly broad background of expertise. In addition, it was necessary to implement a time frame of six months if possible, during which the long-standing job holder was still available in parallel with training.
Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit
The project was completed within three months, including interviews with the position holder and the presentation to the shareholders' meeting. The candidate began as an authorized signatory and was able to take over the management role after six months as planned.
