Ausgangslage
As an owner-managed company and specialist in technical building systems, the Diehl Group with its approximately 500 employees primarily serves business and private customers in southwestern Germany, Hesse and Thuringia. From consulting and planning to construction and precise implementation of various systems in new buildings, modernization or refurbishments, customers receive tailor-made solutions that are tailored to individual needs. The teams in the various companies and branches consist of qualified engineers, technicians and fitters who are proficient in all areas of building technology such as heating technology, ventilation technology, sanitary technology and measurement and control technology (MSR technology).
Zusammenarbeit
We have been working with Diehl for over 14 years and have been able to fill a variety of team and project management positions. As part of the Group's consistent growth and through an age transition, the management should be expanded. The departing sole managing director was initially replaced by an internal manager who took over the technical management.
We were commissioned by the shareholders' meeting to support the initial appointment of the commercial managing director. It was particularly important to find and attract candidates with experience in setting up and managing networked company structures. Modern infrastructure applications should drive forward the simplification of processes and enable synergies to be exploited.
Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit
The project was completed within four months, including the presentation to the shareholders' meeting. The job holder has now worked successfully in this role for nine years. The selection and introduction of a modern ERP system and the restructuring of support services for group members were among the first tasks.
